Hello all! I thought I would update the blog a little. My hope is that we can have excellent discussions from which we can all learn from. The topic of this blog is "Why the Golf Industry?" I would like to know what your personal reasons are for choosing to pursue a career in the golf industry.
Many of us have had mentors and people that we respect start us in the game of golf. We often look up to those people and thank them everyday for the encouragement that they offer us. As we play round after round with these people they start to become more than a golf coach. They start to become a life coach! There isn't another sport on the planet where the participants can have large amounts of human interaction. Friendships are formed on the course, business is done on the course, and lessons are learned on the course.
Give me an example of someone that has taught you a great deal about life on the golf course. I look forward to reading your responses and I am sure that your fellow Future Methodist University PGA Golf Management Students do as well!
